GUEST ARTIST
ROBERT DUPLER

| We were all very saddened to learn ot the passing of our good cyber-friend on June 21, 1999. Rob was a musician most of his life and was involved in MIDI since the days of the Commodore 64. |
| Following is a brief history, written in his own words. |
|
|
| Hello, everyone. I'm told it would be nice to say a little bit about myself before showing you my work. I was born and grew up in the hills of Ohio, both of my wonderful parents being school teachers and musicians. I had music lessons at an early age, and played the baritone horn in my high school band. I later played in a U.S. Navy band, and during my stint in the Navy, I learned to play the guitar. |
| I have managed to equip a small home studio over the years, with Roland, Korg and Yamaha keyboards, plus several different sound generators such as a U220 and the standard SC50. I have kept my old 16 bit Sound Blaster card as a test for my midi's. |
| I was a close tolerance machinist for most of my life and music has always been my stress reliever. Like so many of my fellow citizens in recent years, I was forced into early retirement and am presently living in my retirement home close to the Grand Tetons and Yellow Stone National Park. |
| Here are some of my midis to play and download. If you receive enjoyment from some of them then I will have been greatly rewarded. |
