Princess Diana Remembered
1961-1997

I took this picture of Princess Diana and Prince Charles during the wedding of Prince Andrew and Sarah during the summer of 1986 when I was visiting the UK. I was standing in the Mall, near Buckingham Palace, and saw the carriages riding first to the wedding and then coming back, a few hours later.

I was also in the UK during Princess Diana's wedding in 1981 but did not have a video camera then. I took a few still photographs of her. Click here to listen to the Pomp and Circumstance March No 4 by Sir Edward Elgar which was played in Westminster Abbey at her wedding.

I was shocked and very sad to hear about the tragic death of Princess Diana and I still can't believe she has gone. She was very beautiful and had a very kind nature, helping poor and sick people all over the world. I send my condolences to Prince William, Prince Harry, Diana's mother, Prince Charles, Diana's brother and sisters and the Royal Family.
